Szymon Piłat

I'm Szymon, but everybody calls me Roman Pereira. I live in Gdansk. I was born in 2001. I am a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology. In my spare time I do drawing and graphics. I mainly draw illustrations in black and white, sometimes I also make them in color. When drawing, I try to combine various pictograms and geometric solids into one composition. I really like the motifs of urban buildings and human faces presented in forms that do not exist. I like to combine various non-obvious elements into one whole. I often refer to the artists (mostly those I like) or their works. I mainly create posters, logos and tattoo designs.

2. As who would you describe yourself?
- dude

3. What techniques you use in making your artworks?
- Usually, the process of creating graphics starts with a sketch on paper, and then I finish it in Procreate. There are also works completely done on paper and finished with markers and works completely done in Procreate. Sometimes I also do graffiti and tags in the city.

4. Show off something.
- When I was younger I played football for a long time in Lechia Gdansk. We managed to win the vice-championship of Poland and I was called up for the training camp of the Polish national U15 team.

- homemade pizza from the previous evening

6. Choose your superpower.
- knuckleball

7. Imagine that you can pick one city to live for one year. You have no job but you’re
living on the same level as you are right now. What is your choice?
(No explanation needed but truly appreciated)
- Out of curiosity, I would choose a city in the USA, especially New York or Los Angeles, because I would like to see how the slogan "American Dream" works in reality. And then I would choose Madrid and buy a Real Madrid season pass.

9. Something special about your city.
- I like the Tri-City for the fact that I have the impression that it is the perfect size and has a lot of space.

- Free city of Danzig

11. A thing that you can’t imagine living without.
- without real friends

12. Fav movie?
- It's hard to pick one, but I really liked American Beauty, K-PAX and Beast of No Nation with Idris Elba. I also have to mention my favorite series: Californication 🤩 and Better Call Saul 🫠.

- the one that I get from my grandmother.

- paraguay holly

- Nazis

- I'm going to meet someone usually.

- Together with my friends, we organize the first league of Padbol in Poland, to which I would like to invite everyone ;]

- I think it's a call-up to the national team because I started my adventure with football in a small club GKS Żukowo from village.
